Backup Beeping Sound?

Postby celica_tommo » Thu Nov 04, 2004 12:29 pm

Since doing my manual conversion I've been left with the beeping that turns on when you put the automatic (and now the manual) in reverse. So I want to rip out the thingy that beeps but I cant find it

so where are these usually located? Its in a st-182 celica

Isnt it usually a little speaker (like PC speaker kinda thing) in behind the dash? Not sure of the exact position though

hahaha... I searched backup, reverse etc.

anyway you were 100% right, the little bugger clips into the back of the unit that shows you what automatic mode you're in... quite a lot of circuitry on it for a simple beeping sound

Damn beeps! The wonderful old aged people that bought my car 4 a collectors item thought it would be a genius idea to put backing sensors in it!

BY CHRIST IT DRIVES ME MENTAL!!!!!!!!!!

I want to rip the rear of my car off sometimes!

I do need em for the front for my chronic tail-gatein prob, that would stop anyone in a hurry!
