my gearbox is crunching in 3rd so im gonna replace it with either lsd or 6 spd. i can score the lsd for cheap and i know its a good working box but im keen to go for a 6 spd as i do ALOT of open road driving. is it worth the extra money and time making one fit or should i just go the lsd?
would the 6 spd be strong enough?

6 speed isn't like having a gear above 5th on a normal box, the 6th drive is pretty much the same as 5th on a 5 spd. The ratios are just closer together to fit the 6 cogs in. On the open road it would mean bugger all difference.
