Postby B1NZ » Wed Nov 10, 2004 10:37 pm

Ok heres the deal:

Need lowering springs for an EL44 Cynos, dont want it to be too low but just lower than the 4WD hieght it is at the moment,

So which type should i go for, anyone have any ideas on prices and where to get them from in the welly region??

Anyone have hookups, so far it looks like it may be TRD ones from mr REDhead

It's my car he's asking on behalf of. 8)

I have been quoted a pretty competitive price for TRD ones.

No harm in shopping around though...

Dude you should try talking to edhouse, he's living down your ways now and working at midas or something like that. Might be able to get you some hookups for it!

I've seen you drive it! Very well too... keeping up with me (s/c AE101) and Ewan (fire breathing silvertop (RIP)) from Makara Beach to Johnsonville!
I bet you two will end up swapping cars!!!
Stacey, you will have to bring it to Taupo on 7th Feb to get some laps in (and coaching if you want).

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

You can get your springs compressed. I remember reading that it could be done professionally and it could be certed to get a wof.

Other than that if your just going for the look just get some kings and kyb's/koni's.

Depends on your price?

I'm after quotes at this stage, but am definitely going to do it after xmas. I'll go where the cheapest ones are or if the price difference isn't much, then I'll get TRD ones, just for the namesake! 8)

Ken, I'll bring it out on the track once the springs are done, so if it's done by Feb, I will seriously consider your offer! :D

Maybe try Mossrax behind Maccers on Adelaide road. They also fit etc.

If you tell them Leon sent you, they should look after you.

Plus, they'll probably tell you various lies about me ;)
