cracks on dashboard....how to fix. Urgent

ive been looking at getting an AE92 FXGT. the only problem is it has 3 - 4 cracks on the dash going from the windscreen up to the top of the dash board on the drivers side (about 2-3 mm's wide). i think there are a few on the passenger side aswell.
is this possible to fix yourself? how much work is involved? i know this should de-value the car somewhat but by how much?
is this a widespread problem in AE92's or has the car been in excessive sun?

I would guess excessive sun. In the 6 years I had mine at least 3 of those were not undercover- my dash never had a problem.
In my opinion, if you must fix it then Id say go to the wreckers and buy one there. Pick-a-part usually has a few.
Taking to a dash reconditioner would not be a viable cost effective option & fixing it yourself is not too easy- dash's are bastards to try and make good again.
so yea, take a trip to the wreckers and bargan a hundie off the purchase price- that should more than cover it.
