when installing a 20v / t50 combination into a ke35.....

Postby R15 » Mon Jan 03, 2005 6:57 pm

with a 4age 20v + t50 box in a ke35 does the gear lever fit through the correct hole in the floor, or will a new one need to be cut out? if so, how far out is it as this will affect the center console

also will the 20v go in with the t50 without having to cut the firewall?

if so, how much does it need to be cut?

will i need to upgrade my brakes in order to get a cert? or will some decent pads do the trick?

if an upgrade is needed, what would be reccommended for easyness/ price?

will the dif need replacing? if so , what with and whats requuired?

is there anyone out there whoz personally done this conversion who'd be willing to help me via pm's thru this process. nobody round here REALLY know the exact story.

thanks

wil i need to replace the front struts?

The t-50 bolts up no problem just get the t-50 backing plate thingy from ae86 to suit ae85 ones are the same too. The only reason to cut the firewall is because of the thermostat housing and the dizzy. but there are ways to sort that out without cutting
