I was thinking of using the stock SC lip as a mould... then just glassing over it to make a bigger one. Any ideas for special features on it?

I'm making a bottom lip, not a whole front end.

I think many aw owners will be after cheap replacement front lips (i know i am!!) since theyre pretty easy to destroy...
you should just do what lvn_mr2 did and make a bunch of factory replacements, cept remove that ugly joining part in the middle :x
mean. 8)

I've been looking at factory front bumpers from other cars that I think would look good on the AW11. R32 skylines and those common as hell Primeras have bumpers that would be reasonably good I reckon. Just cut them off where the steel beam normally goes behind, and attach that lower section under the part of the factory one that holds the indicators/park lights. You might need to cut a section out of the middle to get the width right though.
I also an aw11 where the guy had put the lower half of a mid 90's integra bumper on it. Looked pretty good too.

There has been a little snag along the way... my old one got thrown out with a whole bunch of shit that went down to the tip. I haven't made a mould yet, so I think we're outa luck.
