stripped rocker cover mounting points :-(

after gettin my rocker cover back from the coaters ive run into some trouble re-installing it... two of the back mounts stripped out (and real easy too - i was not cranking them tight at all)... i considered drilling the holes out, re tapping them and upsizing from 6mm to 8mm bolts - but i cant even get the drill in there as the intake manifold is in the way (and i DONT want to be trying to remove that as it looks like a horid job on the caldinas...

soooo - any suggestions? Anyone got a small rightangle drill that i could use? I kinda need this desperately as i need to have this car ready by tues night at latest to get exhaust welded up wed and then to the nats display on thrusday!!!!

Help appreciated!!! (i live on the shore BTW in case anyone wanted to volunteer their assistance!)
