Speedo Question, GTZ box into AE101 FX

Postby Rob_GTZ » Wed Feb 09, 2005 10:25 pm

Anyone fitted a GTZ box into a AE101 FX-GT?? What did you do for the Speedo? as the GTZ Box we have is a Cable drive type speedo, & the FX one was a Electronic Sensor Type.

Any ideas appreciated

I had thought of that, but from comparing the two side by side I don't see anyway that they'll swap over.

Anyone Else?

The cable drive and electronic drive units on the gearbox unbolt, swap 'em over.
It is a myth that emos are contagious, and you may be infected. However, it is still widely accepted to wash your hands after physical contact

They wont look like they swap pver but they do.
From memory a 10mm spanner to undo the clamp & then twist it bacl and forth to free it up and pull it out.

I doubt it,

It will probably fit, but there are a bit too heavy, and the blacktop's main advantage is it's lack of internal weight.

Be kinda like fitting a much heavier flywheel,
