Loose door?

Postby mr bzr » Sat Mar 05, 2005 11:07 am

On my levin the driver's side door, whenever you close it with a little too much force the bottom right hand corner always pops out. Like the panel only. Was wondering if this problem is fixable like if it's just some clip that needs to be replaced.

The panel that pops out is the bottom panel where there is the slot for you to put things, i.e. maps or stuff like that. and only the corner pops out on the very right

Not really sure what u mean but its possible the door hinges have worn, easy fix is just take the bolts out of the bottom hinge and put some washers between the hinge and the door.

This would only help if it was worn hinges though... It could just be a loose interior panel?

sounds like you mean an interior panel, thats a easy fix, just whip it off and slide the clip back in its groove. its possible that it may have been ripped out of the door skin though, but even then something could be ruggeded up quite easily

theres also a good chance the clips are worn/broken if they have been off a lot, if thats the case they are available at repco and similar places
