id suggest that you make sure thats your problem first before you do anything. even though it almost deffinitely is. whip your wheel off and look for scrape marks.

assumtion mother of all f..yeap

i've never personally delt with this website so i dont know what they're like. just seen the link, you can probably do better.

Thats a pretty chunky tire for a Levin.

Yip, his rolling circumference will be well out of whack too.

If it is an ae101, a 195/55r15 is the best 15" size tire. Don't bother wasting your time with spacers, get the right tires!

Wouldn't 195/50/15 be the right size? I'm assuming LEV_101 also wants the speedo to be accurate too.

It may, but it will also make your car illegal (spacers need a cert), get some 195/55's or 195/50's and you'll be sweet.

Spacers are generally used to fit rims with incorrect offsets to cars, not to fit tyres. For example you can use bolt on spacers to fit FWD offset rims to RWD offset cars, or many other combinations.

205/60-15 will cause issues, putting spacers on will cause it to rub in different places on an AE101

tyre size should be 195/55-15 for super strut or 195/50-15 for non super strut...

look at your tyre placard by the door...

if it is super strut it will say tyre size is 195/55-15

for non super strut it will say 185/60-14

just on legality...

Spacers (of greater than 5mm thickness) are illegal. Anything less than 5mm I THINK is legal but must still allow significant amounts of thread to be used.

Wheel Adaptors need a cert. Sort of the same as a spacer, but it bolts onto the original hub and provides a new set of studs for the wheel to bolt to.

Adaptor is the correct technical term, but spacer is often used as well... Hence minor confusion...
