Stud Pattern for 97 Celica

Postby drizzt_stylez » Wed Mar 16, 2005 9:17 pm

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone could tell me the stud pattern for a 1997 Celica? Would like it quick as so I can confirm my Work Wheels order :D . I've been told its 5x100 from an unsure source, so would like it confirmed.

Cheers.

Why dont you measure it? I'm almost certain it's 5*100

Not sure exactly how to take the measurement. Is it a measurement from stud to stud or what? If it is, I wouldn't know where to start with a 5 stud, as they aren't aligned opposite each other. Haha see I'm not too clued up on this, just thought it would be easier to ask if anyone knew :D .

Just measure opposite studs centre to centre. On a 5 stud, 'both opposites' of any stud still be the same distance.

Oh ok Cheers guys - Revhead, thats a wealth of info you've directed me towards, thanks. Will go down and measure soon. :)

edit - Done. Didn't take the wheel off to measure the holes like the above link said, but measured from the back of one, to the centre of the opposite one and came up with 100mm.

So if anyone else is interested, the 97 Celica Stud pattern is indeed 5x100.

I think I remember a while ago when I queried Mag & Turbo something about an offset of 34p? That may have been the wheel or something, but I dunno - I'm just a noob :( :P

with the 16# series you have "s" an "a" series engines, the "a" is the 4age, they were 4x100

That's odd, my 4age celica is 5x100 :?

Oh well, it doesn't bother me the slightest, just one of those things I guess...

As others have said, the stud pattern for the 6th gen celica is 5x100

Here's more info:

Centre Bore: 54.06mm
Lug Nut: 12x1.5
Offset: 35-38 (up to 43 max)

Those with the mid 90s "6th Generation" celica should check out http://www.6gc.net. Although it's American based and their celicas had the 1.8L and 2.2L engines (the NZDM celicas also had the 2.2L) there are a lot of international members in the forums who have the japanese spec vehicles (SSI, SSII, SSIII, GT-Four) like NZ, and are happy to share what they know :)

Yeah I'm a member of 6gc.net. Its just the American element to it that puts me off - if I asked for advice and told them I was from NZ, they'd still give me an american brand and company to deal with - so I've found I can get better info from NZ boards.

Sorry to dredge this topic back up - just thought it'd be better than starting a new one :).

I'd just like to confirm that an offset of 42 would be ok to use on my 97 Celica (SSI)? I've found a great price on a set of wheels I've been scoping for a while, but they're only available in +32, +42 and +47 offsets...

Thanks in advance 8)
