Changing 4age ignition

Hey guys,

Not too sure if this is possible but I've heard a couple of people bring it up now. I've been told that its possibly to convert 4ages to coil on plug using coils/ignitor etc from another toyota engine. Has anyone every experimented with things like this or had any luck?
