help with rev counter

i have resently put a 1ggte in my gx71 cressida have wired every thing up and got it running but can't get the rev counter to go.the motor is out of a ga70 supra witch had a dig dash and mine is analog, so just wondering if may need a converter or booster or some thing like that. if so where would i find such a thing?

any help would be good.

Does it run coil packs?? if it does you may need a booster, Otherwise gind the rev signal on the computer and wire it up to that.

it runs ok but is gutless not to much faster than the std 1ge my 2tg ke20 would kick its ass.
