engrish.com

Anyway, a map sensor, does just that. *Manifold Air Pressure* sensor (i think thats right), anyway, sensors how much pressure (or vac) is in your manifold.

this then has a map within the ecu in which it can pick out, dependant on boost / vac, and inject the correct about of fuel (well, if the ecu is tuned well lol). MMMM to incorrect fuel maps _b

yep that's right Cozmo you're right about the name - senses the manifold/boost pressure - sends message to ecu - etc :)

point is, we cant completely understand what your saying, bud.

seriously man, saying *theres one wire left, where does it go*... dosnt help, where is the one place that hasnt got something plugged in?

we can answer questions we know the answers to.... we cant answer questions like *whats behind my back!*

nothing :P

there is a difference between a boost MAP and N/A map sensor tho, one reads vacuum and one reads boost :P

you cannot run a non boost pressure reading one on a turbo/S/C setup.

this is exactly what I meant in your first post about how I doubt you have the intelligence required to twin charge anything, even a car that's already twincharged! Seriously, you must be very naive if you think you have the skills required to plan out and then implement a workable system. But if you're lucky you might fluke it, or someone else might do it all for you.

hey man you are for getting i amnot doing the twin chargeby myself. a machanic is working with me on the project. he has done it befor and is keen to try another one.and i do know anything about engines (machanicaly) i just finished rebuilding my 4agze. i just arn't all the way with the technical electrical crap. this is my second modern car i have owned so its a change. i'm used to working on old skool holdens vallents and chevs. which dont have electrical shit. just a distributor.

The wire that is hanging is beside the altinator, its not for the altinator. and i cant find any were for it to go.

I hope you don't work as a mechanic anymore, it's people like you who screw up car owners like me, who take the blame coz of the crap knownledge and work done by the people like you.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
