AFM adjustment/setting help please (4agte)

Postby ~SlideWays~ » Wed Apr 06, 2005 3:45 pm

My 4agte (was ze) is running rich. I wanted to get the AFM tuned properly but cant get a reading from exhaust because its burning oil. (another prob to solve...good compression thankfully).

The afm adjustment screw is a 1/4 turn anti-clockwise from "closed". Out of interest i checked a 20v one and its 2 full turns from closed. So would that mean mine is set way out??

info: bigport ze, standard ecu, t25g, 14psi, big fmic, (std everything else as far as i can tell).

Can someone give me a guess-timate for an ideal setting (turns from closed/screw fully tightened). or maybe someone has a similar setup who can give me a good setting?

ps the car is going on a dyno on the 16th :D (oil burning n all  )

Thanks 8)
