lol i done a bit to my 86 rolla  . It doesnt take much to make it look alrite i put a coat of blue paint, picked up some OZ mags for 3 hundred, got doors retrimmed for 200, and uno jst hoodlining, painted interior plastics, a bling tacho, steering wheel, pedals and a bucket seat that i scabbed for free.

it dont take much :D

I really wouldn't change the engine, you don;t really want tp pay for a lot of insureance on a corolla.

With all three of my corollas, I kept the compleatly stock, and just kept them really tidy and waxed them up a bit. I had a decent CD player and some aftermarket 4inch speakers and that was fine.

haha, nice, that would work!

Really it all depends how much you have to spend. engine conversions, if you can do your self will be at least $1000, and really, considering the age of the car, unless it was a real minter, its not worth it in my opinion.
You could get a set of nice mags- then at least, if you changed cars you could keep em!
of corse, if you were looking for a project (like I always feel the need to), go the 4age, or ze...just dont expect to get the $$ back when its sold.
My 10c (as 5c is soon to be no longer)

its a grandma car, wait till you buy something better, unless you want to spend mega-bucks.. or wait till you have some better knowledge on engine conversion tech stuff, then do something

i vote put a v8 rotor in it with 10 turbos and 8 superchargers and neons

just my 2 cents

Not worth swapping the engine unless you KNOW you are going to keep it. If you want to swap it dont use a 4AGE, use a 4EFTE, alot less hassle and no changing of mounts etc.

But if I were you Id just put some nice wheels on and lower it a bit, and possibly get the exhaust sounding nice.

At least with wheels and springs, if you were to upgrade to the likes of an AE92 FXGT, you can swap them onto the new car :D
