coby extractors for 20v

Postby Lunchie » Sun Apr 24, 2005 6:20 pm

Hi guys i was looking at partsco and found some coby extractors for the 20v engine...
it said that these were universal between the silver and black tops and i was just wondering if this was true and also if whether fitting these extractors would make much of a power difference to a black top 20v....

Heres the address of the website....maybe you guys who have sum experience sqeezing more power out of your black top 20v's can take a look and tell me what you think...

Yes, if they are designed foe a 20V they will be interchangeable between Silver & Blacktop. The general concensus says, unless the extractors are EXTREMEMLY well designed, you are better to stick with the stock 20V items.

Coby extractors are about as well designed as a few drainpipes duct taped together, so you will more than likely lose power by fitting them.

I have cony ones on my 16V, but only because it didnt come with an exh manifold, and after driving a few other AE82's, mine has no more power than them whattsoever.
