is all ke70, ae85/86/70, te70-3 suspension the same? (coil spring suspension)
what's a good suspesion upgrade? adjustables in the front? strut bars?
is t series running gear the same? apart for diff ratio's? & different spline.
is ae & te steering system the same?
does ae85/86 power steering bolt up into te71's?
what's good brake upgrades?
cheers for the info

dam now thats a good list

-suspension is the same accept some have leaf suspension in the rear (ke70 wagon, ke30 etc.)

-adjustables, new bushes (nolathane or whatever) adjustable arms/panhard rod add a swaybar if it doesn't have one in the rear, or use an extra swaybar, better shocks etc etc

-AE use rack and pinion, TE use steering box, so no the steering is very different

-no it won't, need to customise some things

-AA63/TA63/TA61/RA60 celica/supra/corona/carina front 10 inch vented discs struts are bolt in to AE and TE and some KE, just use struts steering arm with original springs and top hat, only problem is the brakes are so large you have to run at least 14 inch wheels

Hope that helped a bit, i'm sure others can add more

does anyone know what other series toyota brakes will fit into a ke35 with relative ease? i ant to upgrade the front and rear to bigger discs due to a turbo engine upgrade.
what additional parts will i need besides the rotors and callipers?
how much modification is required?

Cheers

AE86 are bolt in in the front, they are vented and alot better, you will need the entire strut and the AE86 steering arm, just use your KE35 front spring and top hat, with the AE86 steering arm. Possibly even the 10 inch vented celica struts will fit straight in too

As for the rear your best option is to try find a AE86 or TE71 disc brake rear diff, you will need to weld new mounts to accomodate for the leaf springs in the rear of the KE35

hey man, the peddlars springs should be fine, as they should be uprated anyway

most rwd celicas have the right brakes, look for TA61 TA63 RA63 AA63
