skyline 4 pots on ae86??

does anyone know if skyline gts-t 4 pot front calipers can be fitted to an ae86 while retaining the factory ae86 master cylinder??

Yes gts-t 4 pot front calipers can be fitted to an ae86 but you will need to use the larger master cylinder from the gts-t or other vehicle. I personally think the skyline brakes are a bit of an overkill but if you really want to do it, it can be done.

Why not settle for metal king pads?? I'm running them in my ae86, they are really good when warm (doesn't take much to heat them up) and pull the car up quite alot faster than with std brakes

Hey, ive done what your wanting to do.

I used cressida struts, and the gtst calipers bolt straight on, but i also used z31 300zx hubs and discs to get five stud also, ill take some better pics tomorrow.

Phil, did you go to the 5-stud to get better access to larger rims, or to change the offset to accommodate the bigger discs. the reason i ask , i that I had a fleeting glance at fitting 4-pot Skyline calipers to the TA63 strut , but had serious clearance issues,and was wondering if it would be easily overcome with a more FWD offset?

Side by side as far as I know. Ive heard of people fitting them to other FWD corolla/levin/trueno's but dont know abuot the RWD variants
