Bluetop camshaft in 4AGZE.

Postby Undertow » Sun May 15, 2005 4:20 pm

I've got an AE101 4AGZE and a bluetop 4AGE intake camshaft. I hear that it's supposed to make it better if I chuck it in. Is that right?

Experienced opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Will rev out a bit better, you get an extra 0.5mm lift and about 4 or 6 degrees duration so in theory a bit more flow. Bazda and EVLGTZ have done it I think

bluetop cams are 240 degrees and gze ones are 232.
Yea they seem to help a bit, but no huge power difference as its only 8 degrees.

Ah ok cool thanks for that. Any difference on economy perhaps? It's for the missus' car so I don't wanna go pulling her engine apart if it's gonna make it worse.

Cheers.
