depends on a few things, condition, mods, how complete it is etc
id say from between $200-$800, people expect way to much, and some people pay to much, personally id only pay $500max depending on condition..

hrmm iv bought a couple, have a couple lying round 2. the first 1 was $300.. this was a stripped motor, but complete. i thought this was the mint deal, then kinda figured i got ripped cos it was pretty $&#$% (bearings, rings etc) but then i remembered i got my w55 with it so it wasnt to bad, and i also sold the ct20 turbo for $200 (lol) so yeh not a bad score really.

um second 1 i paid $800 for, was running fine etc. this came out because of number 3:

number 3 i got from foxton for $800 (off 'dohcturbovan') rebuilt and only done 22,000 ks (thanks to a crashed car like 10 years ago) so yeh.

they r definatley getting rare and the price would b goin up abit, but at the end of the day, i would replace the 3tgte with a 4ag't'e due to reliability/cambelt/and selection of aftermarket parts/ease of sourcing second hand parts etc.
