had the bumper off my caldina today and i noticed on the passenger side just infront of the wheel there is a massive plastic box that feeds the cold air box, can you tell me what it does?? should i remove it if i have a pod filter??

It's a resonator box. It's tehre to quieten down the intake noise. If you have a pod filter fitted, then this box is simply along for the ride. Removing it will have no affect either way.

Im not sure if its a resinator or not but if it is they do make a difference. KinLoud made a post on this and said how it helps at certain RPM's to maintain a constant amount of air. Its based on helmhotz.

cleanest and most efficient way would be to replace the stock panel filter with a fancy TRD or Toms one.
