Small port 4age into ae82

My mate just put a small port into his ae82 fx-gt using the bluetop computer loom injectors dizzy and coil. Its not getting any spark.. any ideas?? Sorry for being so vague with what info i can give you... Anyone done this conversion before?

r u sure u set the dizzy correctly wen u put it bak in ?

Even if it was in wrong it would still spark wouldnt it?

do u mean u have no spark at all ? Have u tested the coil and ignitor ?

no spark at all... how do you test the coil? it was working in the blue top before it was removed.. the blue top slipped its cam belt and bent valves so yeah time for the small port red top.

There are two studs comming out of the coil with wires bolted onto them. One of the studs should have 12v when the key is on.

If it isnt getting power to the dizzy, check all the plugs are plugged in.
There is a plug on the engine loom near the dizzy which should be plugged into another plug comming out from near the drivers side headlight. This is the power wire for the coil, injectors and ecu.
