AE101 TRD Short Shifter

Postby BigDon » Fri Jul 15, 2005 9:46 pm

I have just got a TRD short Shift for my AE101 except that I got sent a AE92 model.

Could some one with an AE101 Short/S scan and email ((johnlove@xtra.co.nz)) me the instructions that came with theirs so I can compare the parts. As I dont want to trouble my mate by sending it back and it fits but the AE92 spacer plates wont fit because they are triangular and 3 bolts and I need rectangular and 4 bolts but this seems to be the only difference. So I was just going to make my own to the right specs.

You can shorten the throw quite easily.

The TRD short shifter lengthens the main shaft by 10mm and then uses spacers between the plastic housing and the metal mount.

I also added 10mm to the fore and aft movement as well :)
