I've got a 95 bzg and have just had the exhaust done. i got 2 1/4 pipe from flexi back and the guy recommended that i use 2" resonators to keep the noise down would this actually give me an increase in hp

Wouldnt increase power at all.

well... it might at xrpm due to certain resistance... but um, HIGHLY doubt it.

2 resos is highly suggested (more if your exhaust guy is talented), gotta fit them pretty tight together though.

and a nice high flowing muffler. Oh and btw, a big boyracer tip is VERY loud if you dont use a normel muffler first

thanks for that. I take it it is better to use resonators that are the same size as the pipe. Will go and get it done with 2 1/4" resonators.
