Fuel meter not working AE111

Desperate help needed.

Somehow my fuel meter only goes up, and does not seem to be ever coming down. What could be the problem?? a fuel sensor on the fuel tank? complicated and expensive to fix?

This started happening when i was turning a sharp corning at high speed, the fuel warning light came on even though there is still half a tank left, since then, the needle never came down again.

Easy to fix, pick a second hand sensor up for a wreckers and DIY. Id presume the fule tank is under the back seat/boot in your car (mines right at the back being 4wd) Its about 8 screws to undo the whole thing. Of corse before you go taking it off etc make sure its all plugs in properly etc.
