Novice Q. Changing 4AGZE S/C Belt

Postby beeker » Mon Aug 15, 2005 8:46 pm

So I need to replace the cracking S/C belt on my 4AGZE.

I have loosened off the centre lower ~guide pulley (it runs on a guide slot for tension). It logically looks like it should fall downwards, taking slack off the belt. It wont though, perhaps seized.

I've given it a light wack, but want to ask if this is correct prior to the big wack. I assume you don't have to loose this guide pulley from the front (centre of pulley wheel)

Any tips ?

thx in advance.

fixed it.

You have to loosen the centre bolt on the guide pully wheel.
