Can TD04L Turbo be fitted on a cynos B?

Anyone knows how much does it cost to install a turbo on Cynos B?

Just drop a 4efte in, and go from there.

5efhe has to high compression to boost EASILY.

(yes, you can, but its your motor man.....)

4efte = drop in, and belive it or not, but 99% of the fittings just bolt stright onto the 4efte from the 5efhe loom, only 1 plug needs to be changed (water temp i think), so just unscrew it from the 5efhe, and screw it into the 4efte.

4efte ecu plugs into the 5efhe loom too :D.

its soooo easy to do.

depends how much money you got then.

4efte can be brought, and installed for $500-700.

Link alone is $700odd (or somewhere around that).

but yeh, just depends what you wanna do.

Id go for the 4efte, BUT THATS ME. and i have a love for that engine over the 5efe (rememebr qik, you turbo a 5efe or a 5efhe?)

Kris has alot of experience and knowledge with both the 4E and 5E Cozmo
so I think he know's what is best.. You think you might know lots about the 4EFTE (from a book) but I can bet a large sum of money Kris know's more :D ..

There was one sitting in chch for me, on a palet, ready to come down.

Engine, gearbox, clutch, turbo, all manifolds, everything, inc loom and ecu, $450 total.

Reason, it started life as $1200, and no one wanted it :D haha. But yeh, then we got the sw, and didnt get the 4e.

I know he does muzzie, but from the initial post, id say the guy just wants "quick power" and not goto much trouble. (thus the "supercharge?" question)

thus why i said do some research. YES, your all welcome to correct me, im just saying, a 4e swap is easier than turboing a 5efe.

everything just unbolted and bolted back in.

But i mean yeh, sorry if i came off the wrong way.

and revving, who said installing costs anything ;).

5e's love boost. I've got one in my daily driven starlet and its thrashed everyday with no problems. Make sure your air/fuel ratio is up to spec and your away laughing.

So say for instane you have a 5efhe, whats the best way of going about turboing? Apparently you can match up the starket gt head to make a 1.5l turbo yeah?
