would TEMS fit on none TEMS car?

Postby MrBeef » Mon Oct 10, 2005 7:59 am

Hi, im currently on the market for second hand ae92 suspension struts.

I come across some 1$ reserve TEMS suspension.

I am wondering whether or not they would fit on my ae92 sedan
Any last words?
Box, toaster, Aluminum, Maple syrup...no I take that back..im'a hold onto that one.

People with worn out TEMS generally get the shocks replaced with non TEMS, because the TEMS replacement shocks are very expensive. :?
I remember reading the thread about it ages ago.

So I cant see why it wouldnt work the other way around.

itll be a pita to hook up.
but can be done i think.
TEMS shocks are now very cheap new so that takes away the reason for ppl discarding it

Do you guys reckon it might be possible to retrofit them to other cars? AE86 for example? I was quite impressed by the TEMS shocks on the AE92 I used to drive. Really nice for a roadie.
