g reddy profec typs s, info on gain knob

i have a g reddy profec type s, the one that has three knobs, gain, lo and hi...

now, i have the gain roughly clos to the end on maximum, but not all the way,

can anyone tell me if you guys use this particular boost controller.....
or if not, tell me what the gain one is, is it safe to put on the maximum, theoretically, gain means how fast the turbo boosts to max, and theres no hard on making it boost asap....but some say you get spiking or creeping or osmething....

i have after market ex wastegate on my set up , and custom equal length manifolds.

I just spoke to Dave earlier tonight and he has one.

Just set the gain at like 5 with your desired boost pressure and go for a drive. Then adjust according to what the ride feels like untill you get it just the way you want it.

If you start it down low and move your way up slowly then you won't have to worry bout shit kicking in too hard and too soon and spiking...
