One cylinder miss on new engine

Postby gtstarped » Sun Oct 23, 2005 8:44 pm

Hey,

I've just put my old RC engine into my ST165 and had it rewired to run the RC ecu etc. I've started it now but it has a miss from cylinder two. It appears to be getting spark and smells like its getting fuel but I'm not 100% sure. I have sprayed CRC on the injector plugs as there was corrision and it still won't run properly. I haven't tried a new lead but I have tried a new plug. Also used injector cleaner.

Any ideas?

Trying a new lead would probably be a good idea. Also check your distributor cap.

Check the resistance on the lead against your other ones, and swap it with one from a different cylinder and try that first
