Commodore Diff ratio's?

Postby Jebus » Sat Nov 12, 2005 6:11 pm

Odd request, but Im not aware of any Holden forums. I would like to know roughly the standard ratio of a commodore diff, mainly of the VL variety. And can 4 cyl friendly ratio heads been sourced?

most commodores use really tall final gears like 2.78:1 or 3.08.:1

2.78 is more of a Falcon ratio (same diff though), Commodore's seem to be 3.08 (earlier) to 3.27 and 3.45ish. May well be others.
