rough ride quality..

Postby EVL20V » Sun Dec 11, 2005 4:05 pm

car = 85 corolla ee80

current setup:

king superlows in front, eibach in rear, not low at all.

all bushes have been replaced with "red" nolothane? bushes.

every tiny bump in the road is rather unpleasant :lol:

there seems to be a slight vibration/wobble? which i can feel thru the steering wheel. its on the left side of the car. all tyres checked and no uneven wear, wheel bearing are sweet. even before i got the new wheels, it was a rough ride. im thinking of getn wheels balanced and then an alignment. will this help?
or should i swap all bushes to standard ones? :lol: any help. cheers

your cant put stiffer suspension in, and expect better ride quality.

id say your best bet is to go and get an alignment and balance, make sure you have good quality tires too, last i heard "shitter" tires out there can make life harder for balancing, and cause more wobble through steering wheel.

does your steering rack have any bushes on it (to chassie)? and are they replaced?

what size rims and what profile tyres do you have.

i have superlow kings and 215 35 x 18's on my corona and the ride is bumpy and hard,

if i wanted a nice smooth ride id leave it factory.
