1GGTE single turbo conversion?

Postby MrDori » Mon Dec 12, 2005 4:33 pm

What turbo should be good for a single conversion?

Is it sweet just to bridge the two flanges to a common t3 type flange?

Theres good used aftermarket manifolds available from japan (Trust, HKS etc etc) over the net, or you could get one made. After looking at the inside of the factory one I wouldn't re-use it for anything but a paper-weight or doorstop!!

(Or you could buy my car and get the whole single conversion ready to go!
Previous Skid Cars (the good ones): 300ZX TT Manual, Bluebird Turbo, RX-7 S1 Bridgeport, RX-4 sedan, R30 Skyline Turbo (x4), Datsun 1200 Coupe Turbo, Low Valiant Ranger XL on 17's

I made a custom manifold and fitted a hiflowed ct26 with a whole lot of other parts and a decent tuner and got 282KW@wheels.if you do it get or make one with smaller diameter pie rather than lager or you will get alot of lag,I used 1" diameter steampipe.
