about 10mm to the right, under that bolt.

its an earth

you may find the car runs a bit odd without it, so connect it up :). (hondas especially run strangly without their rocker cover -> chassie ground connected).

as you can tell the game gets pretty fun :D. maybe be a bit more descriptive? does it on heavy load (lots of throttle / up hill), does it do it no matter what throttle?

what about when cold? when hot? always done it? etc

Basically does it all the time, it's only more noticable under more throttle as you can fell the definate miss/hesitation.

It seems to do it all the time hot/cold.

I think it seems ignition related to but pulled plugs and they are good, new dizy cap and rotor.

fuel filter looks very old, air filter is new

maybe try draining your fuel tank to get rid of all those years of biult up sludge, then replace your fuel filter.
fuel filters are commonly neglected, and hey it could be the one from factory, and think of how many kms your car has done, and how much crappy fuel has been thru it!

haha thats true 270,000km still go strong!

If it was a dirty/blacked fuel filter why would it only miss at cert revs?

engine needs the FACTS to run.

F Fuel
A Air
C Compression
T Timing
S Spark

take away the F, or slow it... guess what wont run very nicely.
