no, I was taking the piss

you're not going to find a RWD car with the same "or similar" floorplan to an st183 celica. There are some rather fundamental issues there.

Should I guess you want to chop the top of the celica off and put it onto something RWD? If that's the case then start searching for cars with similar wheelbase + track width, then go rob a few banks so you can pay someone to do a good enough job that you can get it certified.

yeah but its still not big enough for what im doing and rather than get a custom tunnel faricated i would rather find a factory rear wheel drive toyota thats around the same length in wheel base and use that tunnel.

from what i can decifer between the lines, you are making it dedicated RWD, and require the D/shaft tunnel as well as a g/box tunnel. use the rear floor from the ST185 so you get the diff mounts, d/shaft tunnel, then cut the floor out of R32/33 skyline or S4 RX-7 for the gearbox tunnel. if the gearbox won't fit into either of those, please tell us your actual plans (not some hair-brained dream), as they are what a heap of guys use for big gear boxes.

Realistically, tube chassis it and just sit the body over top. Will be the easiest most certifiable way to do it.
For an idea of the work involved look at the link below, and that is for a car already RWD.

If by any chance you every actually finish it and get it legal, you are likely to find you would have been better off to buy a RWD in the first place.

Are you taking the piss? Your attempting to create a ST185 from an ST183 with only 2WD? Your going to spend twice the value of a ST185 in fabrication costs alone.

Why not buy an ST185 lock the center diff and remove the front drive shafts? Complete at about 1/5th the cost.

Now that wouldnt be much of a project would it?

Why dont you go take the easy road and i'll stick to my idea, hair brained as it maybe if and when i finish i will have a much higher satisfaction level than the person who took the easy road would and i beleive it would be unique!
