Could someone tell me what this is?

im told its a bellhousing for a 5mge, but doesnt look like it will line up with my motor due to dowel placement and starter motor postition,

any help would be great

Thats a 1G bell

This is a "M" series bell see how the top starter hole lines up to the top two bell bolts
