i would like to replace them with some after market guages but put them in the origional holes.

i got an oil pressure guage off my mate to see how they would fit. i filed/sanded out the origional holes a bit to make it fit..

this is what it looks like from the back with the guage in..

now here is the problem... because of the pins on the guage seen above the guage does not fit into the origional housing...

so i thought id drill holes for the pins to stick out and also the lamp power lead but here is the real problem... there is a circuit board behind there and i cant drill through it... duh! (where the two screws are missing is where the factory guage mounts to)

so my dilema, how do i get the guage to fit in there w/o screwing with the factory setup for the other guages??? i thought i could drill through the plastic but not the circuit board and let the circuit board go over the pins with appropriate insulation... will this work???
