Silvertop headers fit blacktop collector?

Postby Leon » Fri Jan 20, 2006 9:52 am

Simple one really.

I've purchased a silvertop motor that only had headers on it, and no collector. Then today (at work, thus I can't just walk out to the garage and test fit it) I was given a blacktop collector (with the double pipe flexy, not the flexy in the single pipe section).

Useful, or give it back?

the EPC says the late ae101 pipe supercedes to the ae111 one.
so in answer to your question, yes it fits :D

Excellent news.

Pity I walked to work today. Don't really feel much like carrying a one metre length of exhaust for 4km. Oh well, it can just live under my desk for the weekend.
