AE101: Corksealed or Rubber Ringed?

I want to take the Rocket cover off my 4A-FE for painting but aren't fully sure if it's corksealed or if there's rubber pieces. Can anyone help?

Rocker covers on 4A-FE (as well on most of moder engines) are rubber, if engine is quite old it is better to have a replacement ready as when you open it up there is a chance that rubber has turned into plastic and will fall apart.

BNT or Repco

You'll find most/all Japanese stuff will be rubber seals and cork is generally for the british stuff
