urgent help please what petrol type

hi all help needed please i have a 1996 nissan primera camino(1.8 litre) and need to know if it would ok running on 91 instead of 96, my parents have a 1998 pulsar and they put 91 in it, please any help would be great
drive it till it breaks, then upgrade it

I know many people who have run 91 in that model without any issues, but thats just my experience and opinion

With the sr18 in that car you should be ok runing it on 91

If I can offer you any advice for that engine....

Change the oil, regularly. :?

*stares at mates wagon with blocked oil galleries and ground down cams, like every other blown SR18*

P.S. 91 will be fine. :D

good advice!!!!!!!!
although some small mods can be done to prevent the cam oil feed issue if it appears to be going down that road.

Haha, I must have one of the very few healthy SR18 motors around but yeh I must say I get a bit paranoid about the incredibly small oil galleries :roll: Yeh mine runs fine on 91 octane.
