can't remember what wire a Tach connects to on the distributor
(group 1)there are a group of about 4 to 6 wires . (group 2) then a little bit lower there are 2 wires a black one and a red/black one
i have a feeling it is the black one out of the 2nd group of wires

Or could tap into the tach feed in the diaginosis connector if it has one. Nice and easy to find, its even labeled most times
