TE71 springs? AE70 springs?

Postby rwd_mayhem » Tue Feb 07, 2006 6:42 pm

i have some spare te71 liftback springs sitting at home, ive just bought a ae70 sedan (twin headlight) and wanna lower it, are the springs the same so i can just get the te71 springs compressed and put them in str8 away, they look around the same size but i want to make sure so i dont waste $120 on compressing them.

well depends... my TE71 Levin have different springs compare to AE70/AE85. TE71 springs are bigger overall. the AE70 are smaller overall. That's mean the TE71 springs will not sit in... if u know what i mean.
But I believe some other TE71 model have smaller springs .. which is same as AE70.... you have to check it yourself.
Else AE85 springs should be the same ae AE70 springs.

no they are not the same, the back is but the front AE70 springs wind down smaller, wheras the TE71 springs stay pretty much the same size all the way, but the TE71 springs are the same as KE70 springs. iv done a bit of research lol.
