GTZ clutch - other things to be done?

Postby aesc » Fri Feb 17, 2006 11:17 am

Hi,

I'm getting my clutch replaced soon and I'm thinking that there are probably a few other maintenance type items I should be doing while the gearbox is out. So what do you suggest?

Cheers

do the seals. One behind the flywheel and 2 on the gearbox (shafts).
Make sure you put the flywheel same way it was, and torque it properly.

Driveshaft seals have been done recently so they will be ok. Is the one behind the flywheel the rear main seal?

Hmm yeah not doing it myself, rather pay the money than have the hassle
