20 valve dizzy vs gze cas?

Just a quick question
internally are they the same?

you might want to be a little bit more presice on your question, is What the same the total diameter? the inside part thats stepped back, the mesurement between Point and and point b?

I think he's talking more triggers.

In which case, yes they are.

However you can't just plug a 20 valve dizzy up to a 16 valve head.... the drive is different for starts.
The answer is Helmholtz!

Thanks Dan. I had a look at the drives last nite i can modify them without to much trouble just make a new shaft at work and make it fit. Was just keen to know if there internally the same.
Has anyone else done this?

The teeth and triggers and things are all the same. I'm using a GZE everything with a silvertop head bolted on and a turbo. Cut the wire to the CAS and work out which one goes to which on the distributor and away it goes. From memory 2 colours were the same and the other 2 swapped but I cant remember the colours sorry :P

So ive had a look and i can machine up a new shaft and make it fit ok is there anything else that would need changing, This is the triggers for a Link Plus not for a standerd ecu
