vacuum lines

Postby slighty_sykotic » Tue Mar 07, 2006 12:41 am

Hey,

Im running a 4age NA inlet manifold (tvis with butterfly plate removed) on my 4agte(4agze).

Now, vacuum lines...

There is a black plastic thing with three "nipples" poking out of it mid way along the manifold, and there are two brass lines from from just above the throttle body.

From what I can tell, one brass line is blocked, and the other one opens to the inside of the manifold.

I think the three plastic ones are plumbed into a part of the manifold that bypasses the throttle body, kinda like a tube running down through the manifold on the inside.
*shrugs*

What I want to know is, what ones of these can I use for the tings such as fpr, wastegate, bov, gauge.

I have the wastegate and bov on one plastic nipple, and the gauge and fpr on the brass one that works at the moment, if this good, bad, no idea?

Any help would be great,

Thanks,

the one wich is blocked will open when throttle opens, it goes to charcoal box.
There will be one for TVIS, one for FPR, one for MAP, one for AC Idle up (probably on the back on manifold)...
