5e head on 4efte

Postby 20v_rollaboy » Mon Mar 13, 2006 6:46 pm

How will this help/improve my engine?

Is it a straight bolt off bolt on job or do other things have to be changed?

And will this increase engine capacity?

Thanks

No, the heads are the same, so it wont help. The pistons are different in the 5E which is what adds the extra compression. 4e-fte 8.2:1, 5e-fe 9.4:1, 5e-fhe 9.8:1.

A 5e-fe with 4e-fte pistons would net a 1500 with compression in the high 8's, although theres no reason why you cant turbo a stock 5e if its tuned right.
