Who Does Cam Gear??

Planning to change aftermarket Cam gear on a 4age, any you guys recommend a shop who does it? ( In Auckland)

I do exchange gears as well, $180 for the pair

If it breaks it needed replacing anyway!

can you make sprockets adjustable as well??

That $180 is for a pair of adjustable 4AGE/ZE pulleys exchange
If it doesn't fit, force it.
If it breaks it needed replacing anyway!

so i take it as no, you can make sprockets adjustable for us with push-rod engines i.e. cam chain/sprockets not cambelt and pulley????

Pushrods???? aint that some of that newfangled 1950s technology stuff???
Long metal stick things that push the valves open. Gee golly, what will they think of next :p

Yep, you can make a lot of sprockets adjustable as well, some of them get a bit tight for room inside the timing cover thou
If it doesn't fit, force it.
If it breaks it needed replacing anyway!

no dramas there, the cover needs to be modified so the sprocket can be adjusted without pulling half the engine to bits.

Do you have a spare sprocket I could look at?
If it doesn't fit, force it.
If it breaks it needed replacing anyway!
