HELP MR2 wont go (20v)

Postby HELBND » Wed Mar 29, 2006 11:12 am

Well i went to do a diagnostic yesterday, and then remembered brad didnt wire up the engine check light :( so i cant figure out whats wrong that way

anyways on to how it happened...

was driving along, had just gone down the road to grab a red bull. was on the way back home, went through a roundabout and accidentally hit the end of first, and bounced off the rev limit twice

i put the clutch in right quick, changed gear and the car died 8O

now it wont start. it turns over, sounds exactly like when you normally start it, just without the starting part :(

does anyone have any ideas? any help much appreciated

Cheers

Are you sure you it did not snap the cambelt?
You could check codes with LED+~1K resistor at diagnostics connector (chuck between W and E1, plus usual jumper E1+T1) it will blink same way as warning lamp would. Or even you could try a 12v light bulb up to 5W instead LED...
