Hey guys,
I have a 1989 Mr2 GT. Engine has done 175,XXX kms.
Problem is Overheating and Loosing Water
Symptoms-:
Does Not blow Smoke, Does not blow steam, There is no oil in the water, There is no water in the oil, It Uses water, There is exhaust gases in the water and bubbles coming out of the radiator when car is running...
When i had it on the road it boosted fine but ive taken it off due to this problem. Its been off the road for 1 week now.
O Rings on turbo are worn. Not sure of play in the turbo.
Did a compression test on it and the results are-
Cylinder1: 150
Cylinder2: 155
Cylinder3: 160
Cylinder4: 150
Am about to do a 'forced pressure' test on the cylinder. By forcing 100PSI through each cylinder and seeing what comes out of the radiator cap bit and if bubbles come out.
I believe its a Blown Headgasket or Cracked block. I get told by many people different explainations but most have been Headgasket or Cracked block.
Help ? Please
Cheers
Mike
